My Calling

I am passionate about people. I love people.

For this reason, my calling exist to be around people and love them. I have also found a passion for sport and fitness. They are both a wonderful way to express the beautiful gift of our bodies. Sport has become one of the avenues in which I was destined to be in relationship with others. Fitness is a way for me to love people through the encouragement of good health.

Ever since a was a young boy I had a passion to play sports. One of my first words was "ball". Anything that involved a ball I was all over it. I played basketball, football, and baseball. I also loved extreme sports like skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding. After many years of exploring all these sports I narrowed in on my favorite sport, baseball. Baseball won my heart. I began training intensely to become the best I could be. I loved seeing my body change through hard work. I loved that I could see tangible growth in baseball and in my muscles. Eventually I made it to the collegiate level of sport and discovered that I want to be around sport for the rest of my life. I furthered my passion of sport and fitness by becoming a kinesiology major with an emphasis in teaching and coaching. I realized I wanted to be a coach and physical education teacher.

Although my direction in life can always change, I see myself teaching athletes sport skills and students physical education. With that, I want to bring love to school districts. I want students to know they are loved. I want students also to grow in loving each other. My hope would be to bring new realities of love to a campus. High school students have the fullest potential to encourage one another and build strong friendships. I want to see a school culture become united in love. My calling is to bring a change of love.
